Your baby is 2 weeks old!
If you've had your baby and you're in week two, tiredness is probably setting in as you manage the tasks of feeding and caring for your newborn on little or no sleep. You may start to feel a bit weepy, from the enormity of the task but this is perfectly normal and most mums feel emotional ups and downs during the early days of parenthood (and beyond!). This week your baby spends most of his time sleeping and not much time awake as he gets used to his new environment.
Your baby's eyesight will be getting better and better over the coming months and you may notice that he turns his head to look at you when you speak, as he also recognises your voice from when he was in the womb.
