You are 16 weeks pregnant!
This week your baby is about the same length as a pencil.
In week 16, if you could see inside of you, you might see her waving her fingers and toes as she practises coordinating her movements.
Her circulatory system is busy practising, whilst her urinary tract has matured enough so that she has a wee every 40 minutes. Her arms and legs are now fully formed and bones all over her body are starting to ossify or harden.

During week 16 your baby is very active practising moving her arms and legs, but if this is your first baby you probably won’t feel her moving for a few weeks yet. If you have already had a baby, you may recognise the fluttering feeling in your tummy this week as your baby somersaults around.
